³⁰ And all the city was moved, and the people swarmed together. And they took Paul and drew him out of the temple, and immediately the doors were shut to.

³¹ As they went about to kill him, a report came to the high captain of the soldiers that all Jerusalem was in an uproar. ³² He immediately took soldiers and centurions and ran down to them. When they saw the high captain and the soldiers, the people stopped beating Paul.
